STYLE NOTES
Italian romance. Owned by an architect and a sculptress, this set of buildings is simply stunning. In all buildings, the original features and stone/wood/glass structures have been kept intact as much as possible, and furnishing and fittings complement these aspects with minimalist rustic-chic panache. When renovating it, the owners wanted to keep the Trullo building as immaculate and pure as possible and restored it on a stone-by-stone basis. The glass-walled dining area makes the most of the beautiful garden; the glass walls are sliding so it can be turned into a completely open area. In the stone building, the kitchen is Varenna with marble tops and stainless steel, and all the appliances are integrated. Furniture is by Poliform and sculptures are in bronze by the host's wife. We love the gardens, the romance and the magic of this unique space.
